Fall Returns 2021

I sigh in relief, and smile, when August ends. Summer is great, but the Fall is best!

Yes, I love to be in the sun. The bright colors of summer flowers, the smell of cut grass, walking around freely, not concerned with boots, coats and mittens. Nostalgia and new experiences collide at summer camp, during road trips, and are subsequently embellished at BBQs that fill up our bellies, and hearts too. 

The earliest fall activity in our household seems to be football, often beginning in the second or third week of August.

Shopping for new football gear kicks off our annual spending spree for school clothes, supplies and the fall food drives.

It also means I need to start thinking about back-to-school lunch bags and what I want to share.
