A New Beginning

Everyday life gives us a chance to start, or try something, new. From new cereal to new shoes, from new songs to perhaps re-visiting an old song in new light, a new day give us a chance to find fresh, different and hopefully enriched perspectives on life. Not every day is profound or monumental though.

Sometimes a simple change in a temperature, season, or the angle of the morning sun is enough to recast our eyes to see a spouse, a child or a breakfast table differently.

This past November was anything but simple, or subtle, for the SmithCrew. We sold our home to begin 2020, spending the spring, summer and fall in an apartment, and landed in a new house with a bold pink door. Intentionally and unmistakably, this is a fresh new start. Our everyday perspective has changed, and we love it!

Walking though our pink door is about entering a new perspective; appreciation. Acknowledging the willingness, effort and grace that has brought us here to do more than celebrate. We are purposely here to plant roots and write the next long chapter in our lives as individuals, and as a family. To extend friendship + fellowship to each other, and those we come across each day knowing the richness of our life will be only as rich as the people, and experiences we invite into our home.
